This position involves various projects that are Professional Affairs Department Related. There is a defined franchise that will involve a detailed needs assessment that will define strategic plans, strategic goals and detailed information pertaining to activities( Design Meetings, Medical Education Programs), User Groups, and Visiting Surgeon Programs required to meet that franchise.
The Manager ? Strategy ? Professional Affairs/Franchise will be working with Marketing managers and Marketing Executives to develop content for the Needs Assessment. There is work plan development involvement, contract draft development and execution, work activity management and reporting. This individual will finalize the negotiation of agreements (develop documentation required to initiate surgeon consultant agreements) and oriented service providers with their obligations, policies and procedures. There is to be compliance with the defined professional affairs department and Office of Compliance & ethics policies and procedures. There is orientation and training with new and existing consultants to familiarize them with processes, documentation requirements including contract terms and consideration. This individual will participate in Strategic Business and Marketing Planning activities of the assigned franchise to develop a comprehensive understanding of its strategic required for the development of the needs assessment.

Qualification:
1. MBA nice to have
2. Working knowledge of corporate professional affairs policies, the DPA, CIA, AdvaMed Code and federal regulations with respect to customer related contracts, grants and communicates such policies to the field upon request.
3. 5 years of Contracting, Marketing or Professionals Affairs experience in Medical or Medical Device/Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry.
4. Proven ability in developing and writing strategic business plans.
5. Preference for candidates with clinical knowledge of Orthopaedics.
6. Excellent Leadership and interpersonal skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Experience in multitasking projects
9. Proven Project Management Experience. PMI designation nice to have.
10. Computer Literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel and Powerpoint.
